To the family,
I am so sorry to read of your loss. I did not know your loved one personally, but the sorrow and pain of death touches all of us. May you find comfort during this time in the hope of the resurrection. Our Heavenly Father promises to "wipe our tears away" during that time. His dear son laid down his life so that we would have a hope when we die. This hope of the resurrection to life on a peaceful "new earth" is very faith inspiring and comforting during times of loss. May you too find comfort in that promise now and in the days ahead. (2 Peter 3:13; John 5:28, 29; John 3:16)
