We were blessed and honored to have been directed by this dynamic servant of God. As the song says, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness".
We Will Work til Jesus Comes! May the love of God and his peace ease the broken hearts of those who admired and respected
Sis. THELMA Dillahunt.

To the Family, May God's Love and peace give you strength and your memories bring you joy. Growing up in the NC conference of the AME Zion Church Mrs. Thelma taught me alot as a youth that has stayed with me over the years. Her work and dedication will never be forgotten.

I am deeply saddened about the passing of Thelma. She was my singing partner and we shared the directing duties for the Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District. Loved her direct and loving spirit. We know in times like these words seem so inadequate, however, I can say you gonna make it. Trust in The Lord and He will see you through. Know that we are praying for and with you, the family and when the need arises and you want to reach out to us we will be there, and we will do the same. God bless you all!

Can’t stop thinking about you my friend. God truly knows what’s best. Thank You for embracing my children and I from day one when we met you and your family on the Washington District of the North Carolina Conference. You afforded me the opportunity to be a lead singer in the conference choir. For that I am eternally grateful. Rest Easy my sister......
.......til we meet again.😔

Thelma was a dear and long time friend of mine. She was always full of life and a song. Earth's loss is heaven's gain.

Tune up the choir, prepare the band, another singing soldier is coming home. A classmate of J.T. Barber 1965 has shed her earth suit to join in that heavenly group of believers now resting in spirit, awaiting the resurrection of a perfected body promised by our Savior. Family and friends may grieve now but be comforted in knowing she is now at peace.
