Robert Lee Whitley

Robert Lee Whitley , 89, of 504 Maul Swamp Rd., Vanceboro, peacefully succumbed to his Master's call Friday, September 29, 2017 at his residence.

He was born July 4, 1928 in Hyde County, NC to the late Plum Whitley and Mae Ella Credle.

Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. Joseph F.W.B. Church

Burial will follow in the Dawson Family Cemetery.

Mr. Whitley will lie in state at the funeral home  from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, October 6,2017.

The family will assemble one hour prior to the service at the residence in preparation for the funeral service.
