Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Deacon Dennis M. Whitfield, 77, of LaGrange died June 14, 2025, at his residence. 

Deacon Whitfield was born February 20, 1948, in Lenoir County to the late Marvin Whitfield and Nellie Vaughn. 

The Service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2025, from the sanctuary of Jumping Run Church Ministries 4308 Jumping Run Church Rd. La Grange

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Trinity Funeral Service 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
