Unite with us as we reflect on the life of Deacon Ervin Ray Cobb, Sr. 89, of 2340 Lovick Road, Kinston, NC died Tuesday, January 7, 2025, while in the care of UNC Rex Hospital, Raleigh.
Deacon Cobb was born July 31, 1935, in Craven County, to the late Fountain Cobb and Essie Lee Davis Cobb.
He is survived by his children, Ervin Ray Cobb, Jr. (Judy) of Carlisle, PA, Alvinorda "Alvin" Cobb (Bernita) of Kinston, NC, Angella Cobb Coleman (Dwain) of Kittrell, NC, Sharnae Cobb Washington of Raleigh, NC,two brothers, John Cobb of Canal Point, FL; Linwood Cobb (Karen) of Kinston, NC; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends
A public viewing will be held from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025, at Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church 3181 Neuse Rd, Kinston, NC
The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2025, from the sanctuary of the River of Life Christian Center 301 N Secrest St, Kinston, NC,
Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Kinston
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation of the funeral procession.
