Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Elder Charles Leon Williams, 73, of Kinston, died on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at his residence.
Charles was born June 3, 1951, in Craven County to the late Jessie Ray Williams and Maggie Maye Williams
He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Faye Williams of the home; one son, Charles Sentel Williams of Washington, DC, one daughter, Felicia Williams of Suitland, MD; two stepsons, Shawn Edwards of Kinston, NC and Oakie Edwards of Snow Hill, NC; two sisters, Theresa Williams Garner and Dollie Williams, both of Kinston, NC; one brother, Stanley Williams of Kinston, NC; 10 grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives.
A public viewing will be held from 12:30 PM -2:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Trinity Funeral Service 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC.
The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 10, 2024, from the sanctuary of the St. Peter Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 602 J.P. Harrison Blvd, Kinston, NC 28501
Burial will follow in the Shady Grove-Lodge Hall Cemetery, Snow Hill, NC
Elder Williams will also lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
