Mr. Charles Elijah Powell Sr.

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Charles Powell Sr., 71 of 2146 Crescent Dr, Kinston, NC died on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at his residence.

He was born March 14, 1952, in Lenoir County to the late Griffin Suggs Powell Sr. and Peachie Wiggins Powell. 

The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2023, from the sanctuary of Trinity Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 

Burial will follow 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Goldsboro

Mr. Powell will lie in state one hour prior to the service. 

The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
