Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Demico Jamelle Best, 30, of New Bern, died on Monday, December 30, 2024, at his residence.
Demico was born February 11, 1994, in Wayne County, North Carolina to the late Anita Nichelle Best.
He is survived by his Adoptive Mother, Julia McGriff of the home; grandmother, Joyce Marie Best of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Johnny Ward of New Bern, NC; four sisters, Joann Suggs of Cove City, NC, Serita Campbell of Milwaukee, WI, LaJasima Roberts and LaTasha Best both of Goldsboro, NC.
The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 5, 2025, from the sanctuary of the Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church-Rocky Run 5325 U.S. Hwy 17 S, New Bern, NC
Burial will follow in the New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Best will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church for public viewing.
The family will welcome guests at the residence, where they will also gather in preparation for the funeral procession.
