Mr. Dempsey Bernard Ward

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Dempsey B. Ward, 62, of 165 Robert Ward Ln., Trenton died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his residence. 

He was born May 27, 1959, in Jones County to the late Charlie W. Ward and Rebecca Kornegay Ward.

The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, 2022, from sanctuary of the Northwest "A" Free Will Baptist Conference Tabernacle. 

Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery, Trenton

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Brown Ward of the home; three children, Gerard Ward of Trenton, NC; Kevin Ward of Richlands, NC; and Lenisha Ward of Dover, NC; two brothers, Charlie V. Ward and Terry Ward of Trenton, NC; three sisters, Verna C. Hargett of Cove City, NC, Janie Wagner of New Bern, NC, and Felecia Brinkley of Trenton, NC; 13 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the funeral home. 

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time and will be announced by Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, inc.
