He was born December 27, 1950, in Lenoir County 

Mr. Donald Best leaves his memories to be cherished by his children, Amanda Powell, Clara Bell Walters, Alice Ellison and Michael Sutton

The service celebrating and remembering his life and enduring legacy will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service,1276 US Highway 258 North, Kinston, North Carolina.

 A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
