Mr. Eric Deshun Whitehurst

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Eric Deshun Whitehurst, 37 of Greenville, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence. 

He was born on April 3, 1987, in Pitt County to the parentage of Obediah Whitehurst and the late Elaine Patrick Whitehurst. 

Eric is survived by his wife, LaShonda Robinson Whitehurst; one daughter, Elaine Whitehurst both of Kinston, NC; father, Obediah Whitehurst; two brothers, Orlando Whitehurst and Joseph Whitehurst all of Greenville, NC; along with a host of aunts, uncles' other relatives and friends. 

A Musical Celebration will be held from 6:00 PM -9:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2024, at Selvia Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 400 Watauga Ave, Greenville, NC  

The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from the sanctuary of Good Hope Free Will Baptist Church, 2506 Mills St
Winterville, NC 

Burial will follow in the Branches Cemetery.

Mr. Whitehurst will lie in state for public viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
