Mr.Franklin George Kilpatrick

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Franklin Kilpatrick, 74, of Kinston departed this life Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, 

Franklin was born on December 28, 1949, in Greene County to the late George Albert Kilpatrick and Esther Mae Newborn.

He is survived by his wife, Retha Kilpatrick of Kinston, NC; one daughter, Sherita Kilpatrick of Kinston, NC; one son, Fontae Kilpatrick of Wake Forest, NC; one grandson, Harlan Kilpatrick of Wake Forest, NC; five sisters, Linda Smith of Kinston, NC, Janet Kilpatrick of New Bern, NC, Wanda Rasberry of Kinston, NC, Stacy Cobb of Greensboro, NC, Mattie Kilpatrick Battle of Rocky Mount, NC; ten brothers, Willie Kilpatrick of Kinston, NC, Melvin Kilpatrick of Kinston, NC, Levon Rasberry of Kinston, NC, Demetrice Rasberry of Kinston, NC, Ronnie Rasberry of Kinston, NC, Luby Kilpatrick of New Bern, NC, Jeffrey Rasberry of Maryland, Reginald Rasberry of Kinston, NC, Michael Kilpatrick and George Kilpatrick II both of Enfield, NC and Gregory Rasberry, Hope Mills, NC.

The service remembering his life and legacy will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from the sanctuary of the United American Free Will Baptist Conference Tabernacle, 1011 Dr JE Reddick Cir, Kinston, NC

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Kinston

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service.

The family will receive guests at the residence, 1780 John Mewborn Road, Kinston where they will also assemble for the funeral procession.
