He was born in Petersburgh, VA to the parents of Jermaine Jones and Jessica Elder Jones.

Jamari leaves to carry on his legacy, his parents: Jermaine and Jessica Jones; grandparents, Rudy and Mike Elder and Wilbert and Margret Jones; his siblings: Jazmyne, Jailynn, Jamira jones.
