Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. James Walter Sutton, 89 of LaGrange, died Thursday, June 27, 2024, while in the care of UNC Lenoir Health Care. 

He was born January 9, 1935, in Lenoir County to the late Walter Sutton and Clara Bell Best.

The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from the sanctuary of Taylors Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 4976 Fields Station Rd, La Grange, NC

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery

Mr. Sutton will lie in state for public viewing one hour prior to the service.
