Jerry was born August 4, 1954, in Northampton County, NC to Ida Bell Pearson Majette and the late Linwood Majette. 

A visitation honoring his life and legacy will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from the chapel of Trinity Funeral Service Memorial Chapel.
