Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. John Moore, 87, of Dover died on August 17, 2025, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

John was born August 16, 1938, in Craven County to the late Paul Moore and Violetta Kilpatrick Moore. 

He is survived by one sister, Audrey M. Scott (Sherwood); one brother, George H. Moore; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The service remembering his life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Monday, August 25 , 2025, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC 

Burial will follow in the Mills Memorial Gardens.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family will receive guests at the residence, 275 Sand Hill Road, Dover, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
