Mr. Julius A. Brown Sr.

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life and legacy of Mr. Julius A. Brown, 78, of Cove City, who was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 17, 2025, while resting peacefully in the comfort of his home.

Julius was born March 9, 1947, in Craven County to the late Harvey Brown and Francis Price Brown. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Verna Bell Brown, one grandson, Derek Brown, daughter-in-law Giovanna Brown, three bonus grandchildren; six bonus great grandchildren; two sisters, his twin Jewel Hardy of Winterville NC and Priscilla Brown of Cove City NC; one brother Edward Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The Service Honoring his life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, from the sanctuary of Bryant Chapel A.M.E Zion Church 504 North Main Street Cove City, NC 

The interment will follow in the White Cemetery

Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM Friday, July 25, 2025, at Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church and will resume one hour prior to the service
