Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Leroy Way Jr., 67, of Cove City, NC died on Friday, March 11, 2022, at his residence.
He was born April 12, 1954, in Lenoir County to the Leroy Way Sr. and the late Katherine Simmons Way.
The Service Celebrating his life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the West Craven High School Performing Arts Center.
Entombment will follow in the Greenleaf Memorial Park, New Bern.
Leroy is survived by his father, Leroy Way, Sr. of Kinston, North Carolina, his devoted wife Sudie Skeens Way and daughter Kamica Nicole Ethelrine Way of the home, Sister, Estella Wiggins of Pollocksville, NC; adopted daughters Evelyn Brimmer Tate of Greensboro,NC, Ezell Pheon Williams of New York City and Kamika Raby of Maryland, adopted son Gary Blount of Raleigh, NC; a Very Special Sister Gretchen Wiggins McMullen of Accokeek, Md, a Special Nephew Xavier Wiggins of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Aunt Earnease Way Presley of Delaware and host of cousins, loved ones and friends.
Public viewing and visitation will be held from 3:00 PM- 4:30 PM with the ritualistic services with the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., from 4:30 PM -5:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
