Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Leslie Pelham, 80 of Vanceboro, died on Monday, April 14, 2025.
He was born May 27, 1944, in Craven County to the late Alonza Pelham and Lillian Moore Pelham.
He is survived by his wife, Ida H. Pelham of the home, three sons, Reginald Pelham of Jacksonville, NC, Gregory Pelham of Winston Salem, NC and R. Allen Harvey of Smithfield, NC; two sisters, Lula Jenkins of Durham, NC, Sylvia Pelham of Vanceboro, NC; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.
The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Queen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church 216 Bailey Ln, Vanceboro, NC
The sacred burial will follow in the Welcome Cemetery.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
