Mr. Michael Anthony Upchurch

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Michael Upchurch, 64, of Kinston transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2025, at ECU Health, Greenville, NC.

Michael was born August 4,1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late David Upchurch, Sr. and Malinda Witherspoon.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Upchurch; three daughters, Ebony Bryant, Cynthia Newell, and Ericka Brown; three granddaughters; and one great-grandson; one sister, Vernetta Upchurch. three brothers, David Upchurch, John Upchurch and Robert Upchurch; along with a host of nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2025 at Trinity Funeral Service.

The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service. 

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery

The family welcome guests at the residence, where they will also gather in preparation for the funeral procession.
