Please unite with us in prayer as we reflect upon the life and legacy of Mr. Rodney Earl Kornegay, 71, of Vanceboro, who transitioned on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the comfort of his home.

The Celebration of Life honoring the memory and legacy of Mr. Rodney Earl Kornegay will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the sanctuary of New Mount Zion Christian Church 345 Belltown Rd. Dover, NC

Burial will follow in the Mabry Family Cemetery in the Ft Barnwell Community.

Public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. 

The family will receive guests at the residence, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
