Mr. Rufus Lee Hill

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Rufus Lee Hill, 55 of Kinston died on March11, 2024 ECU Medical Health in Greenville, NC.

He was born on January 7, 1969, to the parentage of the late Ruffin Hill Jr and Betty Lou Harris Hill in Lenoir County.

Rufus is survived by his wife, Priscilla Hill; eight children, Rufus Hill, Latrviyet  Walker, Reqwuan Hill, Terrance Outlaw, Nickesse  Hill, Cinquetta  Hill, Timmyante’ Herring and Javaree Herring; eleven grandchildren, twelve siblings, Leatha Mills, Brenda Ingram, Walter Sutton III, Brenda Jones, Josephine Hill, Walter Hill, Ruffin Hill III, Willie Hill, Veronica Joyner, Besty Yates, Vivian Cobb, Javion Murriell; and 11 Grandchildren. 

The service honoring his life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2024, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service.

Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Hill will lie in state from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service. 

Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston.
