Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Samuel Simmons, 72, passed away on March 11, 2025, at ECU Health Greenville.
Sam was born May 7, 1952, in Lenoir County to the late James and Betty Simmons.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted wife, Carol L. Simmons of the home; three children, Tony L. Thompson of Jacksonville, FL, Norman Thompson of Stafford, VA, and Natalie Booker of Woodbridge, VA; one sister, Monnie Mae Hargett of Kinston, NC; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
The service celebrating his life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2025, from the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC
Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
