Mr.Willie Dalton Harris

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Willie Dalton Harris, 82, of 623 Harris Street, Cove City, departed this life on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, while in the care of CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern. 

Willie was born March 25,1940 in Craven County to the parentage of the late Willie Ed Harris and Margaret Dixon Harris. 

He is survived by his wife Clearstine S. Harris of the home; three daughters, Lisa H. Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina; Marquita L. Harris of Atlanta, Georgia; Lanita Harris-Bibbs of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Gertrude H. Robinson and Mary H. Sedacy of New York City, NY, Fannie H. Wright of Queenstown, MD; two brothers, Elder James A. Harris of Cove City, NC and Leon E. Harris of Raleigh, NC; and five grandchildren. 

The Service Celebrating the His Life and Legacy will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the funeral home where the family will be present to receive their friends and guests.
