Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Annie Koonce Ballard, 67, of 2609 New Bern Ave, New Bern, NC died on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern,
Annie was born October 5, 1955, in Jones County, North Carolina to the parentage of Mary J. Koonce and the late Joseph Koonce
She is survived by her mother, Mary J. Koonce; four children LaKisha K. Parker of Winterville, NC, Alexandria E. Koonce of New Bern, NC, Barry D. Koonce of Raleigh, NC, and Gerard Jordan Coconut Creek, FL.; five sisters Cora Boyd of Chicago, IL, Karen K. Hamilton and Sandra K. Goodwin of New Bern, NC, Lorraine Koonce of Fayetteville, NC, Cynthia K Coon of High Point, NC; 30 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Public viewing will be held from one hour prior to the service at the church.
