Mrs.Betty Marie (Ward) Green-Griffin

With heartfelt sympathy and compassionate care, we announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Betty Ward Green Griffin, age 87, of Wolfforth, Texas, formerly of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her residence. 

She was born January 30, 1939, in Craven County to the late Joe Ward and Lizzie Nobles. 

A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00Noon Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the sanctuary of Mills Chapel Free Will Baptist Church 4943 Gaskins Rd. Grimesland, NC

Burial will follow in the Celestial Memorial Gardens, Vanceboro

Mrs. Griffin will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church for public viewing.
