Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life Mrs. Beverly A. Dawson Brown, 66 of 3505 Calvary Dr, Greenville, died on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at MacGregor Downs Health and Rehabilitation Center, Greenville, NC.
She was born February 28, 1957, in Beaufort County, North Carolina to the late Clayton Dixon Jr. and Jeanie Dawson Jones.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Melvin Ray Brown of Grifton, NC; stepfather, Moses Jones of Vanceboro, NC; two brothers, Eddie Dawson of Washington, NC and Tony Dawson of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Mosella Worthy of Vanceboro, NC, Barbette Dixon of Chester, VA and Stephanie Dawson of Greenville, NC.
A public visitation will be held from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023, at the St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 350 NC-118, Vanceboro, NC
The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church 1095 Allen Rd, Greenville, NC
Burial will follow in the Dawson-Moye Family Cemetery, Vanceboro
Mrs. Brown will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
