Mrs. Beverly Rountree

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Beverly Rountree, 81 of Kinston died Sunday, December 17, 2023, at UNC Lenoir HealthCare.

Beverly was born in Durham County, North Carolina on September 25, 1942, to Thomas and Pauline Ratliff. 

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and caregivers.

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 29, 2023, from the sanctuary of St. Augustus AME Zion Church.

Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston

Mrs. Rountree will lie in state for public viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
