Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life Mrs. Charmain Coward, 70 of New Bern died June 9, 2025.
Charmain was born December 2, 1954, in Craven County to the late Oscar Lee Norfleet and Martha Polly Bryant.
She is survived by one son, James C. Coward; two daughters, Charndra A. Coward and Maranda Coward Staten; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 12 Noon Saturday, June 21, 2025, from the sanctuary of Cool Springs Free Will Baptist Church 586 Ernul Brick Road, Vanceboro, NC.
Burial will follow in the Gaskins Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church
