Mrs. Doris Nell (Jones) Rayner

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Doris Nell Rayner, 85 of Riegelwood, NC formerly of James City Community died June 8, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care of Wilmington, NC.

Doris was born March 2, 1940, in Craven County, NC to the late Willie McKinley Jones and Christabell Johnson. 

The Service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, June 28, 2025, from the sanctuary of Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 313 Elder St, New Bern, NC (James City Community)

Burial will follow in the Historic Meadows Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
