Mrs. Edna Earl (West) Dillahunt

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Edna West Dillahunt, 95 of 765 NC HWY 55 W. New Bern, "Pleasant Hill Community" died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at her residence. 

Edna was born November 14, 1928, in Craven County to the late Russell West Sr. and Ada Ebrom. 

She is survived by two sons, Leamon A. Dillahunt Jr. of Houston, TX and Lenwood C. Dillahunt of Spring Lake, NC; one brother, Russell West Jr. of Wilmington, NC; special caretakers John T. and Elner Dillahunt of New Bern, NC; one grandchild, three great grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren. 

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2023, from the Sanctuary of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church 604 Johnson St., New Bern, NC

Burial will follow in the Fred Dillahunt Sr. Family Cemetery, HWY 55 W. Pleasant Hill Community, New Bern. 

An Inspirational wake will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 550 NC-55, New Bern, NC 

The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
