Mrs. Ernestine "Teenie" (Lowery) Woods

God is the keeper of our mind and soul and even in times of grief and sorrow, His love and strength can make us whole.

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Ernestine 'Teenie" Wood, 101, of 1910 Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC.

She was born January 18, 1922 in Lenoir County to the late James and Irene Lowery. 

She is survived by two devoted loving children, Angela Woods of the home, and  Adrian Woods of Snow Hill NC; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

 Mrs. Woods will lie in repose for public viewing from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the funeral home.

Her life's devotion, service to God and mankind will be celebrated 1:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023, from the Sanctuary of James AME Church 402 E Shine St, Kinston

Burial will follow on 3:00 PM  Monday, May 8, 2023 in the Southview Cemetery .

The family will assemble at residence in preparation for the funeral cortege.
