Mrs. Henrietta (Rosenboro) Anderson

God is the keeper of our mind and soul and even in times of grief and sorrow,

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life Mrs. Henrietta Anderson died August 8, 2023, at the age of 95. 

She was born October 30, 1927, in Jones County to the parentage of the late Thomas Rosenboro and Jennie Rosenboro. 

As an adult, Henrietta briefly worked for Raytheon Systems and spent 25 years at Valleydale Meat Packing Plant. During this time, she also earned her GED. Henrietta later worked for People Incorporated and the Department of Social Services as a therapeutic foster parent.

Henrietta was an active member and avid supporter of Ever flowing Well Holiness Church. Through the years she also attended Household of Faith and Mt. Carmel Gospel Church.

She touched so many lives during the near century she was in her earthly form; she will be missed by all who know her.  

In addition to her husband, parents and 13 siblings, she was preceded in death by one son, Herman Rosenboro. 

She is survived by her four children, Avis Bizzell, Joseph Bryant, Tommy Bryant, and Michelle Bernard, as well as a foster son, Marcus Stines. eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm Monday, August 14, 2023, at Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2023, from the Lee Street Baptist Church 1 Mary St.  Bristol, Va.

Interment will follow at Eastern Heights Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends one hour of service.
