Mrs.Mildred Diane (Washington) Hawkins

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mildred Hawkins, 63, of 1910 W. Washington Ave, Kinston, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 9, 2023, while in the care of ECU Health Care, Greenville.

Mildred was born November 21, 1959, in Lenoir County to Daisy Lee Washington and the late Doward Mumford.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, George Hawkins Jr.; one daughter, Latisha Hall of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jordynn, Jah and Joel Lawson all of Kinston, NC and Easton Hall of Tennessee; mother, Daisy Washington of Kinston, NC; one aunt, Emma Cratch of Grifton, NC; sisters, Mattie McCall of York, SC, Joyce Tyson, Ada Jarman (Leonard) all of Kinston, NC and  Emily Durant; special sister of the heart, Ramona Dunn of Grifton, NC; four brothers, Onteria Washington and Thomas Washington of Kinston, NC, Jeremiah Washington of Seattle, Washington and Ricky Williams of Virgina; 

The Service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 12 noon on Friday, January 13, 2023, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service. 

Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
