Mrs. Rachel Lee (Baker) McCotter

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Rachel McCotter, 96 of Dover, died on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at PruittHealth in New Bern, NC.

Rachel was born June 25, 1927, in Greene County to the late Benjamin Baker and Rachel Elizabeth Turnage.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Thelbert McCotter of Dover, NC, Matthew McCotter of Greensboro, NC, Rachel McCotter of Dover, NC and Danita McCotter of Greenville, NC.

The Service Honoring her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023, from the sanctuary of Little Creek United American Free Will Baptist Church 9671 NC-903 N. Ayden, NC

Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Scuffleton Community, Ayden. 

Public viewing will be held 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the funeral home. 

Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston.
