Mrs Sadie Mae (Ward) Murrell

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Sadie Mae Ward Murrell, 84, of Trenton, NC, died on Friday, September 6, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern, NC.

Sadie was born January 15, 1940, to the parentage of the late Robert “Sam” Ward and Elzora Carr Ward.

She is survived by two daughters, Iristeen Ward Simmons of Chester, VA, and Shelly Murrell Steele of Pollocksville, NC; and three sons, Herman Davis of Pollocksville, NC, and Edwin Murrell and Reginald Murrell, both of Trenton, NC; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren

The service remembering her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2024, from the sanctuary of the King Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 127 Haiti StTrenton, NC

Burial will follow in the Ward Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Murrell will lie in state for public viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
