Mrs. Zaleta Lee (Arnett) James

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life Mrs. Zaleta James, 60, of 213 Hardee Street, Cove City died on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. 

Zaleta was born May 7, 1963, in Manhattan, New York to the late Eugene and Linda Arnett. 

She is survived by her husband Keenan James of the home, two daughters, Latisha Kelly of Southern Pines, NC and Celestia Smith of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Eugene Arnett Jr. of Charlotte NC; one sister Gloria Lei of South Carolina, two grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. 

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Biblical House of God, 906 George St, New Bern

Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston

Public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. 

The family will receive guest at 9386 HWY 55 W. Dover, NC where they will assemble for the funeral procession.
