She was born on August 4, 1959, to the parentage of the late Roosevelt Gainy Southerland and Cleopatra Dawson Gainey in Coney Island, NY.

Zenobia leaves behind a legacy of love to her devoted husband, Ronnie Benjamin Southerland, one brother, Halbert Gainey.

The service remembering her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 15, 2024, from the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service, 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC
