Ms. Ayanna Jyele Barnes

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Ayanna Jyele Barnes 30, of Kinston died on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Ayanna was born September 29, 1992, in Beaufort County, North Carolina 

She is survived by her daughter, Story Mekhai Street; parents, W. Ivey Jones and Michele Barnes Jones, of Kinston, Tommy Johnson;

one brother, Nigel Jones of Virgina Beach, VA; two aunts, Cynthia Spencer of Washington, NC and Mary Spencer of Norfolk, VA. along with a host of other siblings, aunts, uncles' relatives and friends. 

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 18, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Temple of Deliverance Worship Center 314 W Lenoir Ave, Kinston, NC

Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery, 

Ms. Barnes will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. 

The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
