Unite us in prayer as reflect on the life of Ms. Camillia Burroughs, 64 of Pollocksville, NC, died on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern, NC.

Camilla was born November 3, 1958, in Columbus County, to the late Horace Best and Rosa Lee Simmons Burroughs. 

She is survived by four children, Tiffany Henry of Charlotte, NC; Michael Burroughs of San Antonio, TX, Angela Burroughs and Benjamin Burroughs of both of Pollocksville, NC; one brother, Paul Burroughs of Whiteville, NC; one sister, Cheryl Britt of Pollocksville, NC; and 7 grandchildren.

The service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2023, from the Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 9280 Hwy 17, Pollocksville, NC

Burial will follow in the Oakey Grove Missionary Aide Cemetery. 

Mrs. Burroughs will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. 

The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
