Ms. Glenda Faye (Freeman) Dixon

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Glenda Dixon, 75 of New Bern, died on February 19, 2023. 

She was born April 18, 1947, in Craven County to the late Van Dyke Freeman Sr. and Esther Mae Harris Freeman,

She is survived by two sons, James Dixon Jr. of Trenton, NC and Keith Dixon of San Diego, Cal; four brothers, Leamon Freeman of Hemingway, SC, Van  Dyke Freeman Jr. of Washington DC, Van M. Freeman and Dennis Freeman of Cove City, NC; four sisters, Linda McCarter of Kinston, NC Eldress Edna Wiggins, Dorothy Freeman all Brooklyn, NY, Sally Strayhorn of Cove City ,NC,  Sara Bess of Florence, SC; and Clementine Wikins of Brooklyn, NY; four granddaughters, and  five great grandchildren,

The Service celebrating her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2023, from the Sanctuary of Trinity Funeral Service Memorial Chapel.

Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston.
