She was born January 21, 1963, to the parentage of Elvia Lean Koonce and the late Elsie Perry.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Elvia Lean Koonce; two sons, Devarus R Perry of Fayetteville, NC and Taurous Perry of Kinston, NC.
