Ms. Mable Tilghman

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Mable Tilghman, 89 of Dover, transitioned Thursday, June 26, 2025, while in the care of Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born September 14, 1935, in Craven County to the late Alex Tilghman and Ada Kilpatrick.

She is survived by her children, Rosalind Jones of New Bern, NC; Stanley Tilghman, Dover, NC, Julian Tilghman of Kinston, NC, Tawana Tilghman of Dover, NC; one brother, Alex Tilghman of Kinston, NC and one sister, Minnie Johnson of Baltimore, MD and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends

The Celebration of Her Life and Legacy will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 6, 2025, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service 1276 US HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC.

Burial will follow in the Alum Spring Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service.
