Ms. Tabrena Danielle Chapman

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Tabrena Chapman, 55, Grifton, died May 13, 2025, ECU Health Hospice, Greenville, NC.

She was born February 17, 1970, in Newark, NJ to the parentage of Gloria Chapman Gillard and Bernie Copeland. 

Tabrena is survived by two sons, Alvin Pratt Jr of Grifton NC and Roderick Forbes Jr of Kinston NC; four grandchildren; Jy’Mere Pratt, Darius Williams, Alviana Pratt and Kyree Forbes; mother, Gloria Gilliard of NJ; three sisters, Tesha blunt of Grifton NC, Simone Bellamy of NJ, Latonya Gilliard of Wilmington NC along with host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

A celebration of her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Service 1276 HWY 258 N. Kinston, NC.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Estates, Grifton 

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
