Ms.Tilda Bright Obituary

God is the keeper of our mind and soul and even in times of grief and sorrow,

His love and strength can make us whole.

Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Ms. Tilda Mae Bright ,88, of Kinston formerly of Dover died Wednesday, May 31, 2023 while in the care of Rose Vista Assisted Living. 

Tilda was born January 19, 1935, in Craven County to the late Claude Bright and Lillie Manley Bright.

She is survived by one son, Douglas Dunn of Kinston, NC; three daughters, Wanda Kay Peebles of Parlin, NJ; Remonia Kilpatrick of Ayden, NC, Judy Carol Cobb of Calisle, PA. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

 Homegoing Celebration will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Trinity Funeral Service Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Kinston. 

Ms. Bright will lie in repose for public viewing from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM prior to the service. 

Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Service of Kinston
